The contrast between sans-serif type and natural scenes at the start symbolizes the arrival of the new and unknown, with hidden type gradually becoming more visible amid flashing lights and intricate industrial objects, reflecting the overwhelming human psyche. As the type takes on a life of its own, floating and stretching, the scene becomes cold and dark, culminating in a dramatic reveal of the movie title as an unknown object covers a breakthrough light.
